Winter 1997 -
Not only did this serve as Kerwin's thesis project for his BFA in Computer Art from
The Savannah College of Art and Design, but
it was also the first multimedia final project produced at the school. The Computer Art degree was
almost all about animation. Over the years, SCAD has expanded rapidly and now offers a more
concentrated degree in Interactive Design.
Dragon-23 is a 3-D walkthrough in a building based on the house Kerwin
grew up in. The virtual space is used as a gallery housing his best works... traditional,
computer art, 3-D models, etc. This project was modeled in Autodesk 3-D Studio and
composited in Macromedia Director.
