Dragon's Cave

Fall 1998 - Dragon's Cave is the painting on the homepage of Dragonsaber and is a portait of Shadow Dragon, main character of Kerwin's fantasy illustrations. This composition is made up of several drawings and a photograph. It started out as a figure drawing of Shadow Dragon. The cave floor, made from a photograph of cracked pavement was added next. The cave walls and temple were hand drawn after. Finally, lighting and other Photoshop effects were added to unify all of the parts.
